Emotional & Physical Wellbeing

One of the eight Assembly Dimensions. It covers how your child feels about themselves, and how they are doing physically, including sleep and eating.

Applies across the UK

This dimension is split into two groups of questions: "Emotional wellbeing" and "Physical wellbeing". It asks about mood, worry, confidence and self-esteem, and about things like sleep, appetite, headaches and stomach aches.

Two of the questions in this dimension are worded the positive way round, so answering "Very much" to them is a good sign rather than a worrying one. We flip those two before working out the result, so you do not have to think about it while you answer. They are the only two questions in the whole profiler that work this way.
