Social Interaction & Communication

One of the eight Assembly Dimensions. It covers how your child gets on with other people, and how they say and understand things.

Applies across the UK

This dimension is split into two groups of questions: "Interacting" and "Communicating & Understanding". It asks about conversations, friendships, reading what other people mean, explaining feelings, and how tiring social situations are.

A higher result here does not mean your child does not want friends. Several of the questions are about effort and cost, not about wanting or not wanting company.
